The
Five Psychic Senses
A Psychic Development Intensive
May 8th - 12th, 2008 in Sedona, Arizona
Guided by Steve Thomson
Developing
our innate psychic ability is the one of the most important
efforts we can undertake in support of our ever-unfolding spiritual
journey. Everyone possesses five psychic senses. They
mirror the physical senses we use to make our way in the material
world. The corresponding five psychic senses are our tools for
journeying the unseen world. By design, this is our only way
of experiencing Divine energy and the layers of consciousness
that exist beyond the limitations of human functioning. During
the weekend retreat, you will have an opportunity to learn about
this psychic nature inherent within each of us. We will uncover
and explore the relationship between our unfolding spiritual
path and expansion of the psychic senses.
Our objective
for the weekend will be learning how to understand, quantify
and qualify energy, as we perceive it through our psychic senses.
We are energy beings, living in a world of energy. Everywhere
we go and every one we meet radiates energy, and this energy
affects certain aspects of our being. As spiritual people we
want to learn how to control our own energy and deal with and
process the energy we come into contact with each day. It is
the basis of all spiritual magic and our ability to create the
life we want to live.
The weekend
will be packed with meditation, guided visualization and a series
of classroom type sessions. Also, we will use the Sedona
vortex energies to support expansion of the already existent
psychic parts of us. There will be intentional daily outings
to explore and experiment with specific energies.
The weekend
retreat will be based at Angel Valley Spiritual Retreat Center.
Angel Valley is 70 acres, nestled in a secluded valley, 20-minutes
from the center of Sedona, and surrounded by thousands of acres
of National Forest. Oak Creek runs through Angel Valley year
round. The famous Sedona red rocks assist in creating a unique
energetic environment to support our journey of self-discovery,
healing and realization of our psychic senses. For more information,

A Brief Description Of The Planned
Daily Itinerary*
Thursday,
May 8th - Plan to arrive at Angel Valley no later than
3:00 P.M. Late in the afternoon, our first gathering takes place.
This will be a time for orientation and overview of the weekends
planned events. The opening circle is a time to share what drew
each of us to the retreat, and creating our own personal intention
for the weekend. Dinner will be followed by free time to enjoy
the grounds of Angel Valley.
Friday, May
9th - The day begins with breakfast, followed by meditation
and a talking circle. In our morning training session, we will
focus our work on techniques that support bringing the physical
body into peace and harmony. Learning to quiet our minds and
being conscious in the present is an important step in harnessing
our psychic ability. This is an important step in beginning
the process of allowing our psychic senses an increased role
in our daily lives.
Lunch will be followed by a trip
to Cathedral Rock Vortex. The energy of this Vortex embodies
the Divine feminine energy. It's a great opportunity for experiencing
a balanced, peaceful and serene feeling within. At this breathtaking
site is a wandering river and incredible red rock formations.
The opportunity here is to explore nature, meditate, journal
and relax. Next we head to town of Sedona for a few hours of
shopping. Then we return to Angel Valley in time for dinner.
Saturday,
May 10th - The day starts with breakfast, meditation,
and a talking circle, followed by a two-three hour training
session. Today we will be experimenting with the five different
psychic senses. There will be exercises designed to assist in
helping us to experience one or more of these. We will talk
about your preferred senses. Usually, there is a relationship
between the physical and psychic sense that is more dominant.
After lunch, we travel a short distance
to Bell Rock, one of the most often photographed vortexes in
the area. This is a place of masculine, almost warrior energy.
In response to the type of energy found here, the strongest
urge most people have is to be active. There is plenty of rock
climbing to do, or just enjoy the amazing vistas. Later in the
afternoon, we drive to a scenic overlook at the top of the Oak
Creek canyon, about 6400 feet above sea level, taking time for
pictures and shopping with the Navajo people who sell handmade
jewelry and crafts. In the late afternoon we return to Angel
Valley for dinner.
Sunday, May
11th - The morning starts with breakfast, meditation
and a talking circle. Today we will be working one-on-one in
pairs, as we continue to experiment with our own personal psychic
ability. This day will be a continuation of our effort of learning
how to quantify and qualify the energy we encounter in daily
life. We will also talk about the chakras and the role they
play in relation to our psychic senses.
After lunch we travel to Soldiers
Pass. At this vortex, we work with seven pools of water created
by erosion in the red rock over the years. The pools form a
line which corresponds with the seven chakras of the physical
body. Like the other vortices we visit, there is ample opportunity
to connect with the energy present, supporting the expansion
of the spiritual senses.
We return to Angel Valley for a late
afternoon breathwork session, which cleanses the mind and body,
and refreshes our spirit. Typically during breathwork, one experiences
a heightened state of awareness and becomes more aware of thoughts,
behaviors, and emotional patterns that are holding them back
from living their lives the way they want. This is also a very
keen way to ground-in and integrate what has taken place thus
far. Dinner will follow.
Monday, May
12th - Our last morning in Sedona includes breakfast,
a final group meditation, review of personal experiences, and
discussion of ways to integrate the journey into our daily lives.
You can plan to depart Angel Valley for the Airport at 11:00am.
Plan your airline departure from Phoenix Airport at 2:30pm or
later.
*The itinerary is, of course,
subject to change without notice based on the needs of the group
as the intensive unfolds.

What Our
Clients Say
"This experience has connected
me to the universe in ways that before I thought unimaginable.
Every tree I touch, every bird I hear sing, every mountain,
every human, everything I experience on a different level of
consciousness. You have helped me transcend my former self.”
Jay Wolin
“I can best describe my experience
as a Rite of Passage; I feel that with the support of all involved
I was lovingly guided through a profound ritual of reflection,
compassion and renewal. I am full of gratitude for every individual
who cared for me along the way of this sojourn. I have been
deeply moved by this experience and the best part is that I
am so motivated now to keep up the work so that I continue to
live with this sense of joy, tenderness and excitement of which
I was reminded through this experience."
Romy Krakauer
“A few months ago I had no
idea that I would be in Sedona. It's been a little less than
a week since my return and the gifts that Sedona has given me
continue to reveal themselves to me through out my day. I would
recommend Sedona to anyone who is ready , willing and open minded.
But it was Sedona Soul Adventures who connected me to the magic
that is Sedona.
I remain humbly and eternally grateful.”
