Bali Tours - Embark on the Bali Sacred Spirit

June 18 to July 1, 2011

Balinese woman with offeringsJoin us as we explore the beautiful south sea island paradise of Bali. Widely acclaimed and celebrated for the beauty of its beaches, the grandeur of its mountains and volcanoes and the serenity of its countryside, Bali is also renowned for the high culture, creativity and spirituality of its smiling, gentle people.

Tom and Debra Margrave of Sedona Soul Adventures and our Bali guide and travel partner, Rahti, will facilitate a heart opening exploration of a way of life and culture that has never lost its sense of spiritual connection. As you discover the beauty of the island's temples, its people and its landscapes; as you are immersed in a culture where awareness of, and devotion to Spirit permeates every aspect of life, you may very well experience subtle but powerful shifts in your own awareness and relationship to the Divine.  Eat Pray Love

Have you read Eat Pray Love, the best selling book by Elizabeth Gilbert featured on Oprah’s Book Club? If you haven’t, you may want to before you arrive in Bali. The book is a profoundly funny and spiritual memoir of a woman whose life is falling apart and how she finds herself again. It all begins and ends in Bali with her connections to her teacher and spiritual guide the balian, Ketut Liyer. Ketut Liyer from Eat Pray LoveOn our tour, we are so delighted that we will be meeting with Ketut as a group and will receive a blessing from him. For those who so desire, you can also arrange for an optional individual, one-on-one session.

Come with us to Bali on an adventure filled with sensual and spiritual delights. Come with us on an adventure of exploration and self-discovery. Come with us and discover the Bali Sacred Spirit.
For the Balinese, all dimensions of life are expressions of a greater spiritual reality and as a result, creativity, artistry and excellence are everywhere a part of daily life. In our explorations, you will delight in the beauty of the uniquely Balinese expressions of dance, painting, mask making, wood and stone carving, weaving and other arts.

Balinese spa admidst the rice fieldsDuring our stay, as you resonate with Bali more and more, you will find yourself slowing down, relaxing, opening and unwinding. You will experience yourself spontaneously entraining to the more natural Balinese rhythms and pace of life. You may even give yourself permission to indulge in the pampering and sensual pleasures of the many heavenly little spas set amidst the tranquility of rice paddies and fields. Where else but in Bali are massage, pedicures and manicures, body wraps and facials taken to the level of an art form?

Bali Comments

"My recent trip to Bali was an adventure I never envisioned for myself since the person I thought I was would never fly so far across the world all alone to spend 2 weeks with a group of complete strangers. Debra and Tom were not strangers for more than 30 minutes and from the first welcome-dinner together to the farewell evening, I felt comfortable and secure. I was introduced to the humble and gentle culture of the Balinese people who taught me how shallow and self-centred we in the West often are. The beauty and simplicity of their lifestyle, from the work in the rice fields to worshiping at their village temples is all done peacefully, with grace and acceptance. Our guide, Cok Ratih, was the perfect example of tranquil femininity and treated us to hours of stimulating sights, spirituality and fun. I'd really like to take my children to Bali just to show them how little we need to be happy. Thank you Tom and Debra. I'll be seeing you..."
